TThe National Chairman South West Agenda For Asiwaju Tinubu (SWAGA) Senator Adedayo Adeyeye Has urged Muslim faithful in the country to use this year’s Eid-de Kabir to seek the face of God in returning Nigeria to a land of Peace and Dignity.
Adeyeye in a Congratulatory Message to the Worshippers noted that the country needs prayers considering the various challenges bedevilling it.
According to him:
It’s yet another historic celebration of Eid-el-kabir for our faithful Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe. Importantly, let us not as faithfuls forget the importance of this celebration as it will serve as a guide towards our daily pursuit in service to humanity. Nigeria today is a country that has lived beyond her religious sentiments to embrace unity, peace and love. On the basis of our common identity as a nation, I felicitate with the Muslims and by extension other religious bodies who have ensured sustainable peace within their respective region.
For our unity of purpose as a nation and an example to other African countries, we have at all time come out stronger than theories and expectations of the shenanigans. This is achieved with the strength and grace of Almighty Allah SWT. As demonstrated by Allah’s holy prophet, this reminds us that we must as a people strive for the peace and collective good of one another and by so doing, Allah bestowed his unending blessings on our nation and her good citizens.
The path and way of life through the celebration of Eid must be a teaching we must imbibe and pass from generations to generations which must be done in adherence to the obedience of his teachings and guidance.
As a nation, the time for true rededication and reorientation is now for the greater good of our society and the nation at large in accordance to the teachings and preachings of Allah. This can only be achieveable if in unionism of purpose we commit ourselves to our core values and identity as a zone and region in the true spirit of the Islamic teaching of the words of Allah. This we must show with good faith in our daily livings and in communication to our brother’s, sisters, relatives and friends and not just on the alter of mere utterances and merriments.
We as a nation, today, are faced with the most challenging incidence that will define our true unity and existence as a nation. We are faced with high level of insecurity and the unfortunate attack on innocent citizens couple with destructions of billions of properties on a daily basis which has led to uncertainty within the length and breath of the nation. The manipulations of this evil aspiration must be stand against as we cannot survive neither can we defeat injustice and insecurity if we do not collectively stand for a purpose and a just course. The activities perpetrated by this evil agents is an act that contravene the teachings and unity of the Islam and all that it represents.
To be a true disciple of Allah either as a Muslim, Christian or traditionalist, we must give ourselves to the first principle of true discipleship which is decisive adherence to the true service of humanity in love, peace, tolerance and justice. This is required of us to meditate daily and act accordingly in order to ensure that evil and it’s agents does not have a place to strive and also, restore peace back to our society. We have been given the tenacity, strength and wisdom by the Almighty Allah to build the broken walls and together restore hope and confidence in the society regardless of religious, ethnic, race and faith and this we must achieve as we have been more stronger than where we use to be to fulfill our vows to Allah the giver of life on his commands.
We at all time needs to on a daily basis work towards the instructions of Allah and ask for his grace to do that which he has instructed Us to do uncompromisingly as we continue to believe in a united Nigeria.
We must also ensure, we do not forget the poor, widows and less privileges within us as it is our duty through the commands of Allah to ensure their safety and wellbeing. We ask Allah in his magnanimous mercy to protect Us all as we pray for the good and betterment of our dear Nation.
Once again, happy celebration to our Muslim brothers and sisters and by extension, to all Nigerians home and in the diaspora.
He called for support for the Candidature of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who he said would change the Negative narrative of the Nation to fortunes.
