…as Ekiti notable political groups collapses structures into ADP
It was a carnival like outing yesterday at the Action Democratic Party (ADP) situation office at Adehun area, Adebayo Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti Sate capital as the governorship candidate of the party, Erelu Engr. Kemi Elebute-Halle in the coming June 18 2022 gubernatorial election and other party leaders received thousands of TSO and other groups whose members cut across political affiliations in Ekiti State.
The members of the various groups formed a mammoth crowd and led by their leaders including Hon. Michael Ogundare, the pioneer State Auditor of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state.
Also in attendance were Chief Kehinde Adediran, Elder Adekola and all former stalwarts of the All Progressives Party (APP). It would be recalled that TSO is one of the leading support groups for a leading presidential aspirant in APC and Ekiti State under Dr Bayo Orire.
Speaking on the occasion, the TSO leaders on behalf of members across the sixteen local government of the state told the crowd that they have resolved and agreed to support the candidature of Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle as the only credible alternative to rescue Ekiti State from the present political and Economic shambles the has been plunged into over the years.
They commended Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle for coming out at a time when Ekiti wasy yearning for political deliverance.
Welcoming the decampees, the state Chairman of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Chief Olufemi Eponlolaye expressed gladness at the move describing the.mive as the best the best in the right direction.
The Governorship candidate of the party, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle could not hide her joy by singing praises unto the Lord for bringing into her campaign team at a time people thought it was finished going by the recent happenings in the loss of her erstwhile Deputy Governorship candidate to All Progressive Party (APC).
In her words” with what is being witnessed here, it is obvious that the proportion of people that joined today is like statistically about ten people actually replaced one person that left the party.
That is to say the people that left were in tens while the decampees were in thousands. They were ushered into the party with the funfair it deserved and were given automatic waiver for those who may likely want to contest the forthcoming election.
She further appealed that the door of ADP is still widely opened to those outside the camp because she is not shifting ground as no amount of blackmail or intimidation can stop her moving train of aspiration because One Ayaba is the ultimate goal by God’s grace.
The Director General, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle Campaign Organisation Hon. Musa Arogundade appealed to the decampees on the need to maintain political stability since they have resolved to team up with Action Democratic Party (ADP).
“They should let it be because in togetherness we shall conquer and be victorious in the gubernatorial election come June18, 2022. We all must be steadfast and vigilantduring the coming election to checkmate votes buying and other rigging tendencies” he said.
