The Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, Professor Edward Olanipekun has commiserated with the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the death of the Ekiti State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Paul Omotoso.
In a letter he personally signed, Professor Olanipekun noted that the university community received the news of his death with rude shock and sadness.
The Vice Chancellor described the demise of the APC Chair as painful and devastating at a time his services were still required.
Professor Olanipekun described Barrister Omotoso as a successful lawyer, Ekiti patriot, community leader and peace lover who was committed to the development of Ekiti State without any reservation.
He also commiserated with the Executives and members of APC in Ekiti State, as well as the good people of Imesi – Ekiti over the passage of the committed statesman and prayed that the Almighty God would comfort and console all those he left behind.
