Emure Ekiti Community Lauds Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation (AOF) for Intervention Programs, Distribution of Relief Materials to Residents

The Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation, (AOF) owned by Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi, an Ekiti indigene based abroad, has made another remarkable impact in the lives of the people of Emure Ekiti, delivering relief and support materials to hundreds of residents, marking the last phase of the public aid program for 2024.

The initiative, held at the Palace of Elemure , was part of the Foundation’s commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged and fostering value orientation in Ekiti State, giving hope to the people whose cheeks had consistently become the runway of tears particularly in the Ekiti South Senatorial District.

The recent empowerment initiative in Emure was graced by notable dignitaries, political leaders at the state and the local government levels, including ward chairmen, LG party chairmen from the the Senatorial District, Religious leaders and traditional rulers including the regent of Emure, Kabiesi Oladimeji Taiwo who applauded the AOF for the timely intervention. Delivering a virtual speech, Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi emphasized the Foundation’s mission of uplifting the underprivileged. Drawing inspiration from the biblical story of Cain and Abel, he encouraged Nigerians to embody the spirit of being their brothers’ keepers, especially in the face of prevailing economic challenges.

According to him, “the country is undergoing trying times, and the burden of hardship cannot be eased by the government alone. It is up to all of us to step up and lend a hand wherever we can,” he stated.

Pharmacist Oluwasanmi who highlighted the diverse scope of the Foundation’s initiatives, which extend beyond food distribution to include support for digital literacy in secondary schools and financial assistance for individuals with urgent medical needs said the foundation has over the years, committed substantial resources to health, education, skills acquisition, and support for women, children, the physically challenged, and the less privileged.

“From offsetting medical bills to doling out scholarships, donating technological equipment to schools, and providing food items, the  efforts of this foundation have touched countless lives.” He remarked.

He explained that the initiative was born out of the effort to contribute meaningfully to the effort of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda which is doing a total overhauling of the country’s economy and other critical sectors for collective prosperity.

Oluwasanmi who availed the opportunity to explained the various effort of the federal Government of the nation  in alleviating poverty and ameliorating the suffering and yarning of the people noted that it behooves on every well meaning Nigeria who believes in the prosperity of the nation to support the Bola Tinubu’s policies which he said was the only way forward for the country to bounds back to its place of pride as the giant of Africa.

Pharmacist Oluwasanmi also acknowledged the effort of the Ekiti state Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji whom he aid had been replicating the good intention of the federal government at the state level, charging all and sundry to come together irrespectively of political affiliations and background to make Ekiti fulfil the dreams of the founding fathers under the current administration.

Speaking at the event, the APC Chairman in Emure Local Government, Mr Gabriel Monday,  commended the Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation for his unrelenting commitment to the welfare of Ekiti residents describing  the gesture as a shining example of selflessness, urging others to emulate the act of giving.

“There are so many people who need support around us. If we all act, the world will be a better place,” he said.

Also, the APC Chairman in Gboyin Local Government, Pastor Akinyeye Adebayo, lauded the Foundation for its consistent outreach, calling on residents to embrace the culture of giving back to society, emphasizing that the beneficiaries should remain thankful and prayerful for the benefactors.

The regent of Emure, Kabiesi Oladimeji Taiwo, expressed profound gratitude to the Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation for its impactful intervention, urging individuals to prioritize acts of kindness as a means to strengthen societal bonds, calling on parents to raise their children with values that foster community development.

Adding a personal touch to the event, Pharmacist Ajoke Oluwasanmi, the CEO’s mother and a retired Permanent Secretary in Ekiti State, addressed the women of Emure. She emphasized the power of maternal prayers in shaping children’s destinies.

Pharmacist  Oluwasanmi who is also a pharmacist took the opportunity to charged the people to do regular exercise and eat balance diet so as to stay healthy, calling on the privileged class to assist the less privileged.

She disclosed that beneficiaries of the initiative were selected from diverse backgrounds, including the physically challenged, widows, and other vulnerable individuals from various wards in Emure Local Government.

Some of the beneficiaries who could not hide their joy prayed more successes for the AOF founder.
