The newly inaugurated as the Chairman of Eso-Obe LCDA, Mr Kole Ayeni has pledged an alignment with Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s six-point agenda to ensure broader access to democratic dividends across Ekiti State, particularly in area.
Shortly after he was sworn in at the Governor’s Office in Ado Ekiti, Mr Ayeni assured citizens that her administration would champion the LCDA’s primary objective: bringing governance closer to the people and fulfilling their aspirations.
Acknowledging the transformative leadership of Governor Oyebanji, the new chairman emphasized that its impact would resonate more profoundly within the communities constituting the council.
Expressing gratitude for his election, the council boss attributed his success to divine guidance, acknowledging the support of the State government, party loyalists, and the electorate who entrusted him with the responsibility.
Kole Ayeni who had been a party leader and political figure in Ikoro and Ijero political axis of the state over the years, highlighted the he has a team dedicated and competent individuals who are ready to achieve set objectives of transparency, inclusivity, and accountability were underscored as guiding principles, ensuring constituents’ active participation in decision-making processes.
Ayeni thereafter called on the citizens to fulfill their civic duties, emphasizing their pivotal role in driving progress and development within the LCDA.
Promising a comprehensive agenda, his tenure focuses on pivotal sectors like education, agriculture, commerce, and employment. He pledged support for farmers and business owners, empowerment programs for artisans, and consistent welfare measures for workers. Additionally, he pledged initiatives targeting youth empowerment, elderly care, and creating opportunities for the unemployed.
Mr Kole Ayeni reiterated his unwavering commitment to steering Eso Obe LCDA towards progress and development, assuring citizens of a transformative and inclusive tenure ahead.
