He noted that he had made wide consultations with stakeholders and constituents in Igede Ekiti and Iyin Ekiti of same representation, whose opinions and backings have been serving as encouragements in pushing through.

Akomolafe called for concerted efforts at ensuring good democratic governance in the state saying that the current handlers of government had neglected their roles at the detriment of the average citizens.
The former students’ leader berated the level of unemployment for youths, kidnapping and other issues of insecurity in the state. He emphasized that it was high time the people salvaged the state by voting the Social Democratic Party Candidate, Chief Segun Oni in the June 18 Governorship election.
He noted that the administration of Chief Segun Oni was the best in the history of the state as regards employment for youths, road Infrastructure, scholarships and bursary for students, Salaries, Pensions and Gratuity for workers and retirees as and when due among other emoluments as well as fairness to all the citizens of the state in opportunity acessment.

He added further “This ambition is not about me, it is about us, our future, we are not unaware of the challenges ahead, but we shall break whatever hard nuts it is to make good and impacting laws to better the lives of our people. This is the vision and mission of EKiti People which Engineer Segun Oni is striving to achieve and we must all come together to save our future”
