The new and first Female Chairman in Oye Local Government Hon. Mrs. Adesola Bamisile Clara has assumed office, as she sets the stage for a new era of development and progress, vowing to domesticate the six point agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The chairman who marked her first day in Office with the distribution of grinding machines to women, Piggies, chicken and feed to poultry farmers, an Initiative Sponsored by the Ekiti State FADAMA, to mark her first day and resumption in Office said it was a new era for the people of the council
Addressing the the council staff, Hon. Bamisile pledged an unwavering commitment to driving innovation and fostering ideas that will bolster the socio-economic growth of the council.
She noted that the priorities of her administration would focus on establishing of an enabling environment to ensure workers’s well-being and heightened productivity of the council’s workforce.
Emphasizing the importance of adherence to Governor Abiodun Oyebanji’s (BAO) agenda, she outlined plans to implement necessary measures that would accord greater recognition and inclusivity to the people of the council.
” I have come here to serve the people, we are here to make our people happy and fulfilled and that, we will do with all our powers. Let us remain one and coordinated. We will work and everybody must be ready to work. Our mission ad vision is to lift this council among it’s peers and we will not disappoint the people and leaders who brought us here.
So I plead with all of you. Support this administration, as we embark on projects that we benefit the various communities. They say what a man can do……. So, we are here to demonstrate capacity and capability.” BAMISILE remarked.
She hammered on the issue of punctuality and attendance, warning against truancy and unnecessary rivalries and enmity among the staff, while promising to pay adequate attention to the developmental needs of the council and the people.
Speaking on behalf of the council’s workforce, Mrs Modupe Dayo-Ige expressed unequivocal support for the new chairman’s vision and affirmed the commitment of the workers to realizing the outlined goals.
The event was marked by a special prayer session welcoming the new year, setting a tone of optimism and hope for the promising tenure ahead.
