A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Ekiti State and Former State Woman Leader, Hon (Mrs) Yemisi Afolabi-Doherty has called on women electorate in Osun State to rally round the candidate of the  Party in the Saturday’s Governorship election.

Efon-Alaaye born politician who charged the people of Osun State to come out en masse  and exercise their franchise said it was important to rescue the state of Osun from the sinking ship of the APC through the able and capable leadership of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.

Yemisi Afolabl-Doherty explained that the state would witness unprecedented development if the mandate of leadership is handed over to Senator Adeleke in whose lineage runs the trait of leadership and philantropism.

Addressing Journalists in Osogbo, Osun State capital during a solidarity movement for the PDP candidate, the woman politician said

“There are high hopes and expectations that if Sen. Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke is massively voted for, he will perform very well and a lot of goodies will come to Osun State. We are very much confident in him and our party had made the right choice of presenting a sellable candidate. That is why we came here to give him supports. 

Our people must not let this opportunity to elect the right leadership for the state elude them. It is time and we must get it done and they must partake in the effort of their own freedom. The time is now” she concluded
