In a notable shift of leadership, Mr. Gbenga Sodeinde of Thisday newspapers has assumed the role of Vice Chairman of the Ekiti State Correspondents’ Chapel, following a recent election.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed a cordial exchange between Sodeinde and the outgoing NUJ state chairman, Lion Rotimi Ojomoyela, symbolizing a seamless transition of responsibilities.
During the swearing-in ceremony held on Wednesday, Sodeinde extended gratitude for the opportunity to serve in his new capacity. The event also marked the induction of Dayo Oladele, representing Blue Print Newspaper, as the newly elected Secretary of the Correspondents’ Chapel. Oladele takes over the reins from the immediate past secretary, Victor Akinkuolie.
