With this declaration, the preexisting political calculations at the federal level are interrupted. Political Actors at the front stage will now have to restart and reignite their thoughts to building new strategies of compromises, alignments and disalignments ahead of 2023.
The moral question: Now that Prof Yemi Osinbajo has declared to run for Presidency, what happens to his loyalty to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who nominated him as a Vice President? How does he reconcile this with his political aspiration vis-a-vis his acclaimed proofs of competence in the current equation?
With the current reality and the political consquences, I am suspecting that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu may not contest again. Do you agree or not? Let’s have your opinions.
