The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Dr. Temitope Alake has congratulated the entire Muslim community in Ekiti state and Nigeria as a whole, particularly, members of staff and students of the institution who are of the Islamic faith on the successful completion of the Ramadan Month.
Dr Alake Who lauded the conduct of the Muslim Public of the school, urged the ummah not to lose sight of the sublimity and lessons learnt during the period of the Ramadan fast, but that they should allow the reflection beyond the period and all through out their lifetime.
He noted that Islam is a religion of peace, hence, they must live peaceably with other citizens of different religious beliefs.
Alake who observed that there can be no development without submission to constituted authorities, counselled them to remain ambassadors of progress in their different endeavours.
The rector charged them to celebrate in modesty and continually pray for the good the institution, Ekiti state and Nigeria, most especially now that the country prepared for political transition.
