The Rotary International theme for April is Maternal and Child Care. To make reality of the theme, the Rotary Club of Ikeja, District 9110 in collaboration with Christian Brothers Society on Monday 4th of April 2022 donated facilities to the E-LIBRARY of SOS Children’s Village Isolo, Lagos State.
This in a way was to equip the learning center for the children in order to enhance their reading culture and E-Learning process.
The Rotary Club of Ikeja has over the past 25 years identified with SOS Children’s Village and usually celebrated Christmas with them but in the last two years, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the club decided to shift focus to another relevant and important aspect of child care, which is breaking the barriers of the global digital and technological divides.
Present at the event were the Immediate Past President of Christian Brothers Society, Mr. Muyiwa Osho, Prince Niyi Oyemade, CBS Membership Director, Change Maker President, Rotary Club of Ikeja Rotarian Gbenga Badejo, FCA, Country Director SOS Children’s Village, Isolo, Eghosa Erhumwunse and his Manager, Mr. Adelopo, Change Maker District Secretary, Rotarian Ehi Braimah, Change Maker District.
Others were the Governor, District 9110, Rotarian Remi Bello, FCA, Rot Col Jide Olayinka, Project Services Director, Rot Kayode Situ, Treasurer Rot Sola Akinsiku, Vice President, Rotary Club of Ikeja.

The Country Director SOS Children’s village Isolo Eghosa Erhumwunse and his manager Mr Adelopo thanked the Rotary club of Ikeja for the gesture and for always picking interest in issues of concerns for the development of the society and humanity.
