In a resolute commitment to grassroots development, the Executive Chairman of Ifedara Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, Mr Lawrence Sunday Ogunsanya has reassured the towns, Villages, and settlements in the area that his administration will diligently address the distinctive needs of each demographic community.

During a recent THANK YOU TOUR, of the communities, Ogunsanya affirmed his dedication to fulfilling all campaign promises, aligning them with the six-point agenda of the Oyebanji-led state government.

Communities visited include Orun, and Igbemo where the Monarch of the town the Olorun, Oba JO Osalusi, Chiefs, artisan, youth and the representatives of the entire people.

The council boss who noted that his administration is premised on the principles of democracy, good governance, inclusivity, and citizen participation, pledged to carry all citizens and denizens of the area along in the decision-making process.

He emphasized modeling his administration after the Oyebanji government, heralded for returning political power to the people saying that the approval of the 5kilometers road in rural areas will be of immense benefits to the council areas.

According to him, his administration will focus on the development of agricultural produces which the area is known and renown for, in order to enhance the economic prosperity of the area, urging the citizens to fulfill their civic responsibility of tax payment as well as cooperate with the government in taking the state to the next level of global recognition through grass root development.

Ogunsanya also assured the security, of the people, hammered on the need to re-establish the confidence of farmers against insecurity on their farmlands.

He noted that various peace initiatives and
security measures are currently being undertaken to keep criminals away from the communities.

He availed the privilege to intimate the people about the process of obtaining marriage certificate at the LCDA as a way to enhancing local revenue generation.
Expressing gratitude for unwavering support, Ogunsanya thanked the people and assured them of imminent developmental projects, acknowledging party faithful for their massive support during the election, urging them to sustain their backing across all levels.pp

Monarchs in the various towns commended of Ogunsanya transformative leadership urging the Chairman to focus on agricultural rejuvenation for the enhancement of local revenue generation.

At each of the communities visited, enthusiastic community members trooped out to render solidarity songs upon sighting the entourage of the Chairman comprising the vice chairman, Hon Sola Olowojebut , Secretary to the council Hon. Afolabi Ariyo, the HLA , Directors and member of staff, among other council officials.

Hon. Ogunsanya assured the communities that necessary steps would be taken to addressthe specific needs, peculiar to each community in Ifedara LCDA.

Responding on behalf of the community leaders, the Sapetu of Igbemo , chief C A Adebiyi , the chairman Igbemo assembly Chief Oguntuase and Chief Ilori and Eyelou of Igbemo, iyalaje Chief Mrs Sidikat Balogun and the elejoka of Orun, High chief Felix Adedayo Ajayi and Prince Solomon Akintayo in their different remarks, thanked the council boss and the Ifedara management for the great initiative and pledge to support the government in all areas.

They asked for the development of their markets, road construction and stable electricity, expressing confidence in Ogunsanya’s capacity, whom they described as a well-rooted community leader and politician whose track records gives no doubt on performance.
