Prince Awolola Calls for Massive Grassroots Support for Oyebanji, Intensifies APC E Registration Drive in Eda Oniyo Ward

Prince Charles Adewale Awolola on Sunday, January 25, 2026, engaged members of the All Progressives Congress at the Eda Oniyo Ward One meeting, where he renewed calls for strong grassroots support for the re election of Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, while urging intensified mobilisation for the party’s ongoing membership e registration exercise.

The engagement formed part of efforts to consolidate party unity and strengthen structures ahead of future political activities.

Addressing party members and stakeholders, Prince Awolola stressed that sustained unity and active participation across all polling units in the ward were essential to securing overwhelming support for the governor’s second term bid. He described the e registration exercise as a strategic tool for expanding the party’s base and reinforcing its grassroots strength, urging members to take collective ownership of the process to ensure its success.

Also speaking, a ward leader and key stakeholder, Hon Daramola Omolaja, charged party faithful to remain proactive in mobilising members within their respective polling units. He emphasised the importance of coordinated outreach and consistent engagement, noting that effective grassroots mobilisation would be decisive in delivering a landslide victory for Governor Oyebanji.

During the meeting, the Ward Women Leader drew attention to challenges arising from the National Identification Number requirements affecting the e registration process. She appealed for timely intervention and called on ward leaders to engage party leadership at the local and state levels to find lasting solutions that would ease registration for members.

The meeting concluded with renewed commitments from party members to deepen mobilisation, address identified challenges, and work collectively towards sustaining the success of the APC within the ward and across Ekiti State.
