As Muslims across the world celebrate the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, a house of Assembly hopeful Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin has urged Muslims faithful in the state as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr to promote a life of sacrifice, charity, and love for one another.
Mr Adarabierin in a statement made available to Newsmen in Ado Ekiti the state Capital thanked Allah for granting the Muslim brothers and sisters the grace to fulfill the important religious obligation this year successfully but urged them to sustain the lessons.
According to his words, “I am making passionate appeal to our Muslims Ummah to imbibe the lessons of the Ramadan fast, which is one of the five pillars of Islam such as selfless service to God and humanity as well as a sincere commitment to righteous conducts in your daily activities” he said.
He said that the Holy Month of Ramadan was an opportunity for Muslim brothers and sisters to seek more of Allah and promote a life of sacrifice, charity, and love for one another.
Mr Adarabierin commended the peaceful co-existence between Muslim and their Christian counterparts in the state, and urged them to sustain the teachings of Ramadan even after the Holy month to build a prosperous and more peaceful State.
He further said “as you celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast, I urge everyone, regardless of your faith, to continue to live in unity and peace with one another especially as the governoship election is getting nigh”
The Ado Ekiti born politican who had given beverages to Muslims faithful in Ado Constitency one during the fast promised to continue to cater for the needs of his people within his capacity and ability..
On the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state Mr Adarabierin also urged APC Leaders to use the ramadan period to unite as one big Political family and pray the party’s victory at the poll.
Adarabierin, who sought the Support of Muslims in the state for the emergence of the party governoship candidate Mr Biodun Oyebanji noted that the former SSG had what it takes to develop Ekiti state.
He said that the state was peaceful under Governor Kayode Fayemi, hence the need to continue with the trend by voting for Mr Oyebanji in the June 18 Gubernatorial election in the state.
