Ekiti Project is Collective Responsibility: Fayose Calls Support For Oyebanji’s Success.

A Former Governor of EKiti, Chief Ayodele Fayose has declared support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

Fayose who paid a visit to the Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti said the project of keeping Ekiti Working is a collective responsibility irrespective of political or religious affiliations.

Governor Fayose Who said that the visit was to condole with the Governor and the state on the death of the Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly Mr Funminiyi Afuye, said that the demise of the speaker was a rude shock.

He prayed for the repose of his soul, and that God should grant the family and people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss.

Saying that God was kind to Ekiti People by making Oyebanji victorious at the poll, the former Governor described Oyebanji as a listening Governor and a blessing to the state,

The former Governor called on the people of the state to give absolute support to the new administration.

Responding, Governor Biodun Oyebanji thanked Chief Fayose for his spirit of sportmanship and the supports given to his administration, despite being in different political parties.

Oyebanji promised to always rely on advise, observations and counsels of past and present leaders of the state.

In another development, the Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye has paid a visit to the Office of the Governor in Ado Ekiti.

Prince Adegoroye who said he shared a long time relationship with Governor Oyebanji described him as a forthright leader who was ever loyal to the course of developing people and community.

He congratulated him for his success at the poll and his subsequent inauguration.

Governor Oyebanji who thanked the Minister also congratulated him for his appointment to serve the people of the nation.
