Ex- Ekiti PDP Woman Leader, Yemisi Afolabi Sends Festive Greetings, Calls for Unity in Ekiti’s Development

The former Woman Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, Mrs. Yemisi Afolabi, has sent warm Christmas and New Year greetings to party faithful and residents across the state.

In a Christmas, message, Mrs. Afolabi, who hails from Efon Alaaye, highlighted the need for unity and collective effort to drive meaningful development in Ekiti State.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate another festive season, Mrs. Afolabi urged citizens to approach Christmas with joy, thanksgiving, and a sense of responsibility. “Christmas is a time to come together in love and harmony,” she said. “It’s also a moment to reflect on how we can contribute to building a better future for our state.”

Mrs. Afolabi commended members of the PDP for their resilience and dedication to the party’s principles despite the challenges of the past year, encouraging them to remain united and focused as they prepare for the tasks ahead in 2025. “Our strength lies in our unity,” she said. “Let us remain committed to our vision of a stronger and more prosperous Ekiti State.”

The former woman leader also called on political leaders and stakeholders to prioritize collaboration and inclusivity in governance, noting that progress could only be achieved when leaders put the collective interests of the people above personal ambitions. “Development thrives on unity,” she noted. “It requires input from all sectors and every citizen to make meaningful impact.”

Highlighting the importance of grassroots involvement, Mrs. Afolabi urged citizens to actively participate in community development projects.
