Ekiti Kete Coalition USA Applauds Senator Bamidele’s Free Medical Outreach

The Ekiti Kete Coalition USA, a prominent diaspora group, has commended the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, for his impactful Free Medical Outreach program, which benefited over 6,600 residents across Ekiti Central Senatorial District.

In a statement issued by the group’s President, Hon. Joe Olugbamila, the initiative was described as a testament to Senator Bamidele’s commitment to selfless service and the welfare of his constituents.

“The Free Medical Outreach initiated by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele is a remarkable demonstration of his dedication to the health and well-being of the people he represents. This initiative has positively impacted the lives of thousands in Ekiti Central,” Olugbamila stated.

He lauded Senator Bamidele as a compassionate leader and an astute politician who continues to champion people-oriented policies and programs.

“Senator Bamidele’s initiative exemplifies how leaders can bring positive change to their communities. By providing access to essential healthcare, he is significantly improving the quality of life for his constituents,” Olugbamila added.

Highlighting the Senator’s broader commitment, Olugbamila expressed confidence in his ability to deliver more impactful programs, including skill acquisition initiatives, youth and elderly empowerment, and scholarship opportunities for students.

The group’s Secretary, Hajia Aisha Opeyemi Oni, also praised the outreach as a model of effective leadership and representation. She noted that Senator Bamidele’s visionary efforts have addressed critical health challenges and provided relief to those unable to afford medical care.

“The outreach program bridges a significant gap in healthcare access, particularly for vulnerable populations, empowering them to lead healthier and more productive lives,” Hajia Oni said.

Both leaders expressed gratitude on behalf of the group, assuring the Senator of their continued support and prayers while urging him to sustain his commitment to the welfare of the people.

The Free Medical Outreach provided vital services such as hypertension and hepatitis screenings, blood sugar tests, antenatal care, family planning counseling, and free eyeglasses. It was widely embraced across Ado, Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ekiti West, Efon, and Ijero local government areas of Ekiti State.
