The Chairman, Ifedara Local Council Development Area Him Shina Olawale Ogunleye has held a special meeting with Party Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress APC across all wards in the area in a bid to ensure victory for the party in the June 18 Governorship elections in Ekiti State.
Ogunleye who at the special seesion highlighted the variius achievements of the present administration under Dr Kayode Fayemi and the need to mobilize support for the candidacy of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO noted that the victory of the party in the coming election is a determinant factor in the subsequent Presidential, National and state Assembly elections in the state.

The LCDA boss lauded the support given to the Fayemi led administration and to his current tenure at the Local government, most especially during the Party’s primaries, while urging them not to rest on their oars in publicizing the good works of the APC government and the personality of it’s candidate.
Ogunleye at the meeting announced the appointment of some Personal Assistants selected from each Ward across the council area, while cash gifts were also dolled out to all the Ward chairmen who would be receiving monthly salaries for a period of one year from his personal resources.

The Igbemi Ekiti Ward Chairman, Hon Ogunsola Peter, commended Ogunleye for the gesture. He prayed God’s blessings and richness for him saying that he had demonstrated good leadership and that the people were not disappointed to have voted him into the political office. He described Ogunleye as a selfless leader who do not mind spending his personal resources for the good of the people and development of the society.
Also, One of the Newly appointed Personal Assistant from Iworoko ward, Mr Babalola Taye thanked the chairman for the opportunity and charged political office holders in the area to understudy and emulate the leadership style of Hon Shina Ogunleye whom he said prefers actions rather than fake promises.

He lauded the various developmental strive and interventions for the people at the grassroot embarked upon by LCDA government while promising to make the best use of the appointment to serve his community.
