2023 IWD: Women can help Bridge Digital, Economic Gaps- Ekiti Female Civil Servants Discuss

Women across all sectors must position and acquaint themselves with the dynamics of the 21st century as a way to back up the advocacy for gender equality.

This was the submission of the Secretary to the Ekiti State Government Dr, Habibat Adubiaro and other resource persons at the round table talk to celebrate the 2023 International Women’s Day for female civil servants in the state.

The women drawn from different cadres availed the sessions to discuss the 2023 theme Digit All: innovation and technology for gender equality.

The keynote speakers Dr Olabisi Ogunmodede and Mrs Martins Adetoye who said that women can help to bridge the world technological gap charged them women to train themselves on necessary gadgets for productivity at their duty posts.
Saying that health is wealth, the speakers charged women on regular medical check ups.

The Coordinator Ekiti Women in Management EKWIM, and permanent secretary Cabinet and Special duty Mrs Oyeyemi Kayode –Ojo and the permanent secretary Office of Political and economic affairs Mrs Kemisola Aiyegbusi called on women to assist one another.

In her remarks, the secretary to the state government Dr Adubiaro explained that for women to take their rightful place and earn more respects, they must not be found wanting, in discharging their responsibilities.
She lauded the Oyebanji led administration for the recognition given to women in his administration.
