The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ekiti State Joint Campus Committee (JCC), has unequivocally expressed confidence in Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
At its 2024 transition convention held at the College of Health Technology Ijero Ekiti, the students’ body lauded the governor for his fresh and progressive approach to governance, emulated not only within Ekiti but also across Nigeria.
The commendation extended to his unwavering commitment to the welfare of students in the state, emphasizing his avoidance of political manipulations in favor of acting as a benevolent patriarch to the students.
The outgoing Chairman of NANS EKITI JCC Axis Mr Aderibigbe Sikiru Adekunle underscored the Governor’s significant contributions to the student community.
In recognition of these contributions, the students passed a vote of confidence in the Governor, and endorsed him for another term to continue his stewardship for another 4-year tenure, prioritizing student welfare as a central focus.
The Chairman cautioned any potential contenders contemplating on displacing the Governor, urging them to reconsider and abstain from fruitless endeavors.
