A member of the Ekiti state 5th House of Assembly, Hon. Princess Titilayo Owolabi Akerele has declared her intention to run the race of the National Assembly having purchased her Expression of Interest form to represent Ekiti North Senatorial District under the Social Democratic Party (SDP)
Hon. Titilayo Owolabi Akerele a notable former Parliamentarian in Ekiti state while addressing Pressmen noted that It was high time people began to place purpose over Title. She lamented the rate at which political leaders pride in their positions while they neglect their basic responsibilities to electorate.

According to her, “there is a particular purpose for each and every creation, everyone has a purpose why God created him or her. I want to formally inform my people in Ekiti State and most especially people from my Senatorial District that representing them well is my purpose.
I have the required experience and they can also attest to what I have done in the past to impact the lives of my constituents.
This is a dream that we must all concert efforts to achieve. We must salvage today to protect the future from those who are bent on siphoning and milking the best out of us to give rots back in returns.
Hon Titilayo Owolabi appealed to the citizens and denizens of Ekiti to come out enmass and show support for the Rescue Mission of vEngr Segun Oni in the forth-coming Gubernatorial Election in Ekiti State coming up June 18.
She charged those who have not gotten their PVCs to get them in readiness to exercise their franchise and make dividends of democracy accrue to them by their own determination.
