US Varsity Honours Ijidale with PHD, Says He’s Proven himself beyond Doubt

An Ekiti-born humanitarian, philanthropists, politician and an ambassador of youths, Hon. Olalekan Ijidale has been listed by the Prowess University, Delaware, USA, for a Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities (Honoris Causa).

The epoch making event is billed to hold on 26th August, 2023 at University of Lagos, (Main Auditorium

According to Prof. Chidi Justice, the Chairman, Award Selection Committee, the Former Special Assistant to Governor Kayode Fayemi on Mobilization South and Secretary, Appointment Committee to the current aministrstion in EKiti State Government was nominated for the prestigious award based on his demonstration of integrity, priority, accountability and transparency in Quality Service Delivery in Private and Public life.

Ijidale, who is known as a positive force through his humanitarian assistance to the less privileged has built a resounding name and pedigree in Nigeriaa.

He has been described by many people as an hardworking, consistent, principled, resilient, brilliant and talented leader whose connections cut across different strata of the society and has been using same to benefit the people.

According to the institution:

No doubt, you have been singled out as a proponent of National Development, Humanitarianism, and Transformational Leadership, a firm believer of selfless service to humanity.

“You have been identified by our investigative team and confirmed by opinion molders across the country as a beacon of hope to the underprivileged in society.

When contacted, Mr Ijidale said he received the honour with great joy saying it would propel him to do more.

Speaking of his educational career, Ijidale said:

I grew up in a though and difficult environment and it affected my education as I was unable to aquire university education.

“I had to hit the street to struggle and make ends meat from where I ventured into ICT and other business activities.

“I possessed several professional qualifications in ICT but because of my long time desire to get conventional education, I returned to school to obtain a Diploma from the University of Nigeria and later enrolled with Lead City University, Oyo State where I obtained a degree in Politics and International Relations.

“At the moment, I wish to proceed for my Masters, I want to use my story to encourage youths particularly indigent students that with courage and tenacity they can get to any level.
